Places to Stay

Here are a few places to consider when traveling to Nova Scotia. These are places I would personally recommend because I have experienced their hospitality first-hand or I have heard from friends, relatives and business associates whom I trust. This list is far from complete so come back often for updates.

Emsik Beach House, Port Joli - A beautiful oceanfront cottage on a private white sand beach on Port Joli Bay, Nova Scotia. One cottage only, so if you would like to vacation here you have to book early. An absolutely stunning location for swimming, sunbathing, kayaking and beach combing. And Kejimkujik Seaside Park is about a five minute drive from your front door.

Graham’s Pioneer Retreat -  These cottages are on Digby Neck, Nova Scotia. They are unique in many ways. Because of their location, electric power to the cottages is through gas generators, but don’t be fooled, you’ll have all the comforts of home! The cottages are all very spacious, so they’re great for family vacations; but it’s the spectacular view of St. Mary’s Bay that will amaze you!
