A series of photos taken at Kejimkujik Seaside Park last weekend. Images of a new section of the ‘loop’ trail at the park. The new ‘interior’ trail replaces the old pathway that followed the shoreline. The old path was subject to storm damage and had been repaired many times. While I will miss the shoreline, the new trial offers some interesting and new perspectives of the park.

The first sighting of a porcupine in Newfoundland was recorded in October, 2011. In Nova Scotia they are very common and can be quite destructive. Met this guy on the trail a couple of years ago. Fun to watch, but keep them away from your dog. Could lead to an expensive vet bill.
Our picnic in the dunes at Kejimkujik Seaside Park, Port Joli, Nova Scotia (Oct. 22nd, 2011). Another amazing day at the park. Warm breeze (warm enough for shorts), bright sun and spectacular sky.
